    COKER COLLEGE AWARDS 2018 EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING SCHOLARSHIPS

    Hartsville, S.C. – May 29, 2018  – Coker College recently awarded full-tuition Excellence in Teaching scholarships to two deserving Teachers of the Year: a M.Ed. in Literacy Studies scholarship was awarded to Tonya Woodson, a reading recovery teacher at North Vista Elementary in Florence and 2011-2012 Teacher of the Year for Lamar Elementary School, and a M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instructional Technology scholarship was awarded to Regan Moore, a science teacher at Irmo Middle School and 2017 ...

    COKER COLLEGE ENACTUS THIRD IN THE NATION

      Hartsville, S.C. – May 23, 2018  – Coker College Enactus was named third in the nation at the Enactus United States National Exposition held May 20-22 in Kansas City, Missouri. There are 440 Enactus teams that compete in regional competitions across the country; the top 100 go on to compete at the National Exposition and the final four teams present in front of more than 1,000 people.

    COKER COLLEGE CELEBRATES 110TH SPRING COMMENCEMENT

      Hartsville, S.C. – May 14, 2017  – On the morning of Saturday, May 12, 2018, during its 110th spring commencement ceremony, Coker College conferred bachelor’s degrees on 176 graduates.  In a separate hooding and commencement ceremony on the evening of May 11, Coker College conferred master’s degrees on 14 graduate students.

    COKER COLLEGE STUDENTS RECOGNIZED AS FINALISTS FOR ENACTUS LEADERS OF THE YEAR

    Hartsville, S.C. – May 7, 2018  – Enactus Coker College student members Kendra Lambert (‘18) and Luke Elliott (‘18) were recently recognized as regional finalists for the Enactus United States Leaders of the Year program. Kendra and Luke are two of only 30 students selected from approximately 12,000 Enactus student members nationwide.
