First-year Vocal Performance major Cole Chase-Cochrane won first place in the Musical Theatre category for Non-Traditional Students at the South Carolina National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Student Auditions held at Newberry College this October. Cole’s victory advances him to the Regional level of the competition.
Faculty member Dr. Elizabeth Holmes served as an adjudicator during the competition, while Dr. Inhye Cho provided piano accompaniment for Cole’s performances. In addition to competing, Cole performed during the Winners' Recital and participated in a public master class
