McLeod Health has made a generous $75,000 donation to Coker University’s nursing program. This investment will strengthen hands-on learning opportunities, enhance clinical simulation spaces, and support scholarships for nursing students.

The gift reflects McLeod Health’s continued commitment to healthcare education and workforce development in the Pee Dee region. By supporting Coker’s nursing program, McLeod is helping prepare the next generation of skilled, compassionate nurses who will serve communities across South Carolina and beyond.

McLeod's ongoing support strengthens our mission to educate compassionate, skilled nurses who will shape the future of healthcare," shared Dr. Eileen Klang, DNP, R.N. Dr. Klang is the interim dean of Coker University’s College of Health Professions. 

The donation will be used to expand Coker’s nursing simulation lab, fund student scholarships, and support program growth as demand for nurses continues to rise.
