Hartsville, S.C. (July 20, 2021) – Professor Natalia Schradle, Assistant Professor of Dance at Coker University, recently completed her MELT Level 1 Instructor Certification, earning her license to teach MELT Level 1 Curriculum in group and one-on-one settings professionally, and to incorporate these techniques into her course load at Coker University.
According to Sue Hitzmann, the creator of the MELT Method ®, she says, “The MELT method is a simple self-treatment technique that you can do at home to get out and stay out of chronic pain in just 10 minutes a day. Using specially designed soft balls and a soft body roller, MELT helps to rehydrate the connective tissue system and rebalance the nervous system.”
Schradle has found these techniques to be incredibly stabilizing and centering, and an effective means of self-care for dancers studying to become professionals in the field.
