Coker University is streamlining the application process for its nursing programs by launching NursingCAS, the centralized application service for nursing schools, for the first time. Beginning August 1, prospective students can apply to Coker’s Spring 2026 nursing programs through the platform as part of the 2025–2026 application cycle.

NursingCAS provides applicants with a user-friendly and efficient way to apply to multiple nursing programs using a single online application. Coker’s adoption of this national system marks a significant step forward in improving accessibility and transparency for students interested in entering the nursing profession.

“We’re excited to join NursingCAS and offer a more streamlined, accessible experience for students applying to our nursing programs,” said Dr. Eileen Klang, Dean of Nursing. “This is part of our continued commitment to removing barriers to entry and helping students take the next step toward becoming compassionate, highly trained nurses.”

Currently, Coker’s NursingCAS portal includes applications for programs beginning in Spring 2026. Students interested in applying to the Health Professions to BSN (HP to BSN) track for Summer 2026 or the traditional nursing program for Fall 2026 should note that those applications are not yet live. Coker’s Office of Admissions and the College of Health Professions will continue working closely with NursingCAS to launch those future program options as part of the 2025–2026 cycle later this August.

Coker University launched its nursing program in August 2023, offering a dynamic new pathway into healthcare education for the Pee Dee. Since then, the program has expanded rapidly to provide flexible learning formats, such as hybrid for traditional students and fully online for working professionals, backed by strong regional partnerships.
