Coker University surpassed its goal of 400 donors for Giving Day 2024. The University raised $82,300, with 486 donors participating.

“I’m proud of our Cobra family for coming together and supporting one another,” President Natalie J. Harder said, “The gifts we received will assist our students throughout their collegiate journey as they realize their potential and purpose.”

The 'Strike as One' Day of Giving, a 36-hour fundraising event, is a testament to the power of our Cobra community. Parents, community members, alumni, and more have donated to support Coker’s academics, athletics, and more.

The last Coker Giving Day was in April 2019; the University paused Giving Day during the COVID-19 pandemic. University leadership decided it was time to bring back this tradition to unite Coker's alumni, donors, and friends with an end goal of 400 donors.

“We are so thrilled to have brought back Coker Giving Day,” Amy Morris, Director of Alumni Engagement, said. “Our goal was to unite our Coker community, and we succeeded.”
