Hartsville, S.C. – April 18, 2018 – Coker College recently added its Corporate Partners Graduate Scholarship, which covers 50% of total program tuition for a Master of Science in Management and Leadership. The scholarship is available exclusively for employees of four designated local corporate partners––Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center, Duke Energy, McLeod Health, and Sonoco Products Company.
Local industries help the Pee Dee region to thrive and Coker understands that future success depends on a well-prepared, passionate generation of leaders to continue the good work of their predecessors. Coker College’s Master of Science in Management and Leadership is an online graduate program offering real-world training for those interested in becoming proficient, innovative leaders in their fields.
The Corporate Partners Graduate Scholarship provides 50% off tuition for the degree, valuing the scholarship at $9,750. Areas of focus within the program include business strategy and decision making, finance and business analytics, negotiations, and leadership and team management. The program consists of 10 six-week terms, or 15 months, and is entirely online.
"We focus on preparing our students for success by linking academic knowledge to the foundational principles of effectiveness and developing emotional and social intelligence," says Dennis Burke, business professor at Coker College.
