As February approaches, a symphony of love is set to unfold with the upcoming Valentine Choral Concert on February 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Drengaelen House.

Led by Choral Director Dr. Pingyi Song, Coker Singers, Coker Cantilena, and guest artists will perform at the matinée with a reception following. Audience members will have a chance to meet the singers and guest artists. 

“Amore, A Celebration of Love promises to be a celebration of romance, unity, and the profound power of choral music,” Dr. Song said. 

From classic love arrangements to contemporary arrangements, each piece was carefully selected to express the various facets of love, according to Dr. Song.

“The entire repertoire promises a diverse and emotional journey through the language of music,” Dr. Song said. 

This concert will feature solo serenades of love-themed classics accompanied by Dr. Inhye Cho, a staff pianist, that add emotion and authenticity.
