    Coker’s Wiggins School of Education Names 2018 Educator of the Year

    Hartsville, S.C. – August 17, 2018 – Coker College’s Wiggins School of Education awarded its fifth annual Educator of the Year award to Stephanie Rogers, Assistant Principal at Cheraw Intermediate School in Chesterfield, South Carolina. The Educator of the Year award is granted annually to a teacher who has served as a positive mentor for Coker education students, offering encouragement and support above and beyond expectation.

    COKER COLLEGE ENACTUS THIRD IN THE NATION

      Hartsville, S.C. – May 23, 2018  – Coker College Enactus was named third in the nation at the Enactus United States National Exposition held May 20-22 in Kansas City, Missouri. There are 440 Enactus teams that compete in regional competitions across the country; the top 100 go on to compete at the National Exposition and the final four teams present in front of more than 1,000 people.

      Hartsville, S.C. – May 14, 2017  – On the morning of Saturday, May 12, 2018, during its 110th spring commencement ceremony, Coker College conferred bachelor’s degrees on 176 graduates.  In a separate hooding and commencement ceremony on the evening of May 11, Coker College conferred master’s degrees on 14 graduate students.

D.E.E. Idea Challenge, with Coker College well-represented with seven teams and winning $2600 in prize money.

    Hartsville, S.C. – April 18, 2018  – Coker College recently added its Corporate Partners Graduate Scholarship, which covers 50% of total program tuition for a Master of Science in Management and Leadership. The scholarship is available exclusively for employees of four designated local corporate partners––Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center, Duke Energy, McLeod Health, and Sonoco Products Company.
